Quadcopter Drone Assembly
Aerospace Multi-Rotor Airframe: Multi-Body SolidWorks CAD, 2D GD&T Orthographic Drawings & Center of Gravity Analysis
Airframe 3D CAD Architecture
High-performance multi-rotor quadcopter platform designed with an aerospace-grade hybrid carbon fiber and lightweight aluminum skeleton. Optimized for maximum torsional rigidity, high thrust-to-weight ratio, and clean component packaging.
Isometric render showcasing the quad-arm truss layout, central battery enclosure with custom Shuban debossing, ESC modules, four high-RPM brushless DC outrunner motors, and red polymer propellers.
Key Subsystems & Functions
- Truss Arms & Chassis: Four lightweight CNC Aluminum 7075-T6 truss arms bolted to a Thornel VCB-20 carbon cloth base plate, resisting bending moments generated during high-speed maneuvers.
- Propulsion System: Four high-RPM brushless motors paired with high-efficiency red nylon polymer propellers to deliver responsive collective lift and aggressive yaw authority.
- Integrated Electronics Stack: Internal PCB distribution board fabricated from E-Glass fiber, routing high-amperage power between the centralized LiPo battery, ESCs, and flight controller.
- Vibration Isolation: POM Acetal copolymer spacers and brass standoffs dampening motor harmonic frequencies to protect sensitive onboard IMU gyro sensors.
2D Orthographic Technical Drawing (Sheet A3)
Manufacturing-ready engineering drawing created in SolidWorks following standard first-angle projection rules, complete with multi-plane cross-sections, isometric exploded view, and standard drawing block metadata.
Drawing Metadata: Drawn by SHUBAN SINGH SINGRAUR (16/12/25). Displays Top View, Front View, Right View, Cross-Sections B-B & C-C, Isometric View, and Isometric Exploded View. Includes standard tolerance callouts and title block.

Center of Gravity (CG) & Mass Analysis
Precise mass properties analysis evaluated in SolidWorks to ensure symmetrical weight distribution across the geometric center of thrust.
Front elevation verifying that the vertical center of mass sits directly below the rotor plane, providing natural pendulum stability during forward flight.
Top plan view confirming near-zero lateral offset (X = -0.10 mm, Z = -0.11 mm), maximizing motor lifespan by equalizing power draw across all four ESC channels.
